SVK Yoga School – Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before submitting your application or participating in any programs.

• I voluntarily and willingly choose to participate in yoga classes, teacher training programs, workshops, retreats, wellness sessions, therapy, exercise, and/or healing arts activities (collectively, the “Activities”) offered by SVK Yoga School (the “School”). The Activities may be conducted in person at the School’s physical location, or online through videos, live classes, digital platforms, apps, or other media.

• I understand that participation in the Activities requires adequate physical and mental health. I represent that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that prevents safe participation. I agree it is my responsibility to consult a physician before beginning any Activity.

• I acknowledge that participation in the Activities may involve risks including, but not limited to, high blood pressure, fainting, heartbeat irregularities, muscle or joint injury, back or neck strain, heart attack, stroke, or aggravation of pre-existing injuries. I accept full responsibility for monitoring my limits, modifying or stopping when needed, and participating only to the extent appropriate for my health and ability.

• In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Activities, I waive, release, and discharge SVK Yoga School, its owners, managers, instructors, staff, employees, and independent contractors (each a “Released Party”) from any liability, claim, or cause of action arising from participation in the Activities, including those caused by negligence. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless all Released Parties from any costs, claims, damages, or expenses arising from my participation. This waiver extends to claims of personal injury, illness, property damage, emotional distress, or death that may affect me, my heirs, or legal representatives.

• I acknowledge that for in-person events the School may photograph, record, or video classes, workshops, or events. I consent to the use of my image, voice, or likeness for educational, promotional, or marketing purposes on the School’s website, social media, or other platforms.

• I understand and agree that all fees paid are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable, except as expressly stated. For online courses, once payment is made, fees are strictly non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable. For in-person courses and events, if I cancel at least three months before the course start date, I may request a refund minus a USD $400 non-refundable deposit and transaction charges. Cancellations made less than three months before the start date are not eligible for a refund. I am responsible for any transaction fees associated with my payment.

• I understand and agree that the School may, at its discretion and without prior notice, modify course content, schedule, faculty, or delivery methods, and adjust technical, academic, or logistical aspects of any program. Such modifications will not entitle me to refunds or claims.

• I agree to maintain respectful behavior toward teachers, staff, and fellow students. I understand that any form of abusive, racist, violent, or inappropriate conduct will result in immediate dismissal without refund. I must register using my original legal name and provide identity verification upon request. Use of false or misleading information may lead to cancellation of registration and forfeiture of fees.

• I am responsible for completing the course within the timeframe set by the School. If I discontinue participation for personal reasons, I remain fully liable for fees, and the School is not obligated to provide refunds. Certification is contingent on fulfilling all academic and practical requirements to the School’s satisfaction.

• This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Uttarakhand. Any disputes arising shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction in UK. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

• By enrolling in SVK Yoga School’s programs, I confirm that I have read and fully understood this Agreement. I voluntarily accept these Terms & Conditions. I acknowledge that by agreeing, I waive substantial legal rights, including the right to sue.
